1066 and all that: was Amazing Rocket Ship there?

That may sound fanciful and yet…this remarkable discovery has just come to light in the vaults of the University of Lewisham [which regular readers will remember has already, through its distinguished Marsala campus in physical anthropology and archaeology, shone bright light on possible pre-historical occurrences – see here for example]. It is with humility that we at Rocket Ship Foundation (Australia) can only speculate on the veracity of this truly amazing find – a hitherto unknown fragment of tapestry from the famous Bayeux. Apparently lain for centuries in a shoe box.

Amazing Rocket Ship in 1066

This new fragment from the famous Bayeux Tapestry clearly shows Amazing Rocket Ship at the scene of battle.

To think that Harold was fighting to safeguard the treasure; and William was trying his hardest to clamp his hands on the very Amazing Rocket Ship. [It is noted this evidence has yet to be peer-reviewed.]
