The boffins at the Rocket Ship Foundation have done it again – giving Amazing Rocket Ship a set of feet to make safe manoeuvres on extraterrestrial terrains. Watch this little video of Amazing Rocket Ship’s first baby steps.

It was a busy year here at the Foundation – with Amazing Rocket Ship for the first time playing a significant part in the geo-political scene, with requests coming from far and wide for sound guidance and wise counsel. More than ever Amazing Rocket Ship is likely to be called upon in the ensuing months to push that vital message: Make Space for Everyone. Rest assured Earth – Amazing Rocket Ship is up to the job!

Amazing Rocket Ship celebrates World Space Week with new sculpture

The Rocket Ship Foundation is proud to celebrate World Space Week with the launch of RS026 [in the complete catalogue], inspired by the ever popular Jack in the Box toy.

Technical details: Recycled tin; four coat hangers for springs; cotton cloth and thread; copper tube; wood; silver solder. Base at 14cm square. Height when erect: 40cm.

Amazing Rocket Ship goes on exhibition

Residents of Northern NSW, Australia have an amazing (and rare) opportunity (for a strictly limited time) to view Amazing Rocket Ship in all its magnificence at the fabulous iconic Sugarmill Studio in downtown Murwillumbah, 2484.

Booking is not essential and entrance is without any form of gratuity (in other words, free). Feast your eyes on the astonishing variety of rockets, wonder at the sheer diversity on display, give yourself a good belly-laugh too and, even, make a purchase – or commission your own Amazing Rocket Ship. [The exhibition is suitable for all ages.]

Amazing Rocket Ship: The Kite

At just 36cm by 20cm and weighing in at hardly anything at all, The Kite (officially RS020) flew for the first time this morning in unfavourable conditions: high winds and squally rain. This test flight nevertheless bedded down the various systems and makes way for an official flight later in the week (weather permitting).

Rocket Ship Foundation [the charitable enterprise behind Amazing Rocket Ship] is pleased and delighted to announce the first of a more cuddlesome version of the project, aimed at children and young people. [Please note, owing to the use of small parts it is not recommended children under three are given unrestricted access.]
